So many people listen to podcasts these days, and there are so many out there for every mood, taste and genre you can think of. Typically, my personal favourites are all based around motivation, productivity and encouragement with life.
I find these podcasts are super energising for me especially on the days when I have a longer drive to the office. Listening to something inspiring can be much more rewarding than just listening to the radio I find.
There are lots of different ways to listen to podcasts to, so I haven’t left links but instead given their full titles so you can look them up on whatever app it is you use.
Coming in at number 5 it is “Paul McKenna’s Positivity Podcast”. I’m normally not one for a celebrity interview, but the angle of Paul’s podcast really highlights that these famous people are as human as the rest of us, and go through similar problems to us.
Then at 4 we have “Happy Place by Ferne Cotton”. Like Paul McKenna, this podcast is interviews of famous people, but here the focus is on people searching for happiness. Once again it shows the reality of celebrities and shows me that everyone goes through shit. I am truly not alone.
3 would be “The Motherkind Podcast by Zoe Blaskey”. I have only recently come across this podcast and have to say I was instantly hooked! Zoe is my kind of mum; down to earth and honest about the hardships we face and have to embrace every day.
The other reason I think I liked Zoe is that she is British! It may just be me, but when it comes to the motivational side of podcasting there aren’t many Brits doing it. If you know of any then please do comment below as I would definitely check them out!
Number 2 on my list is “The Mindful Productivity Podcast by Sarah Steckler”. I love this podcast because it combines both the love I have for planning with my new found love of mindfulness. Sarah is very clever with her posts, developing ways to make you think about how you plan your days to make you the best you can be.
Sarah also has a Facebook Group which gives you further hints and tips on how to be productive and organise your time wisely. She is a really down to earth character and has some wonderful products available, including her productivity planners.
And my most favourite at number 1 is “Achieve your goals with Hal Elrod”. I am a huge fan of Hals after reading his book The Miracle Morning, and if you follow this blog you will have noticed his name pops up quite a few times!
I love him so much because he is so down to earth, and he always manages to come up with some really catchy phrases that make you just stop and think. His whole outlook on life is truly inspirational and so this just oozes out in each episode.
Right now his focus is around his nee book, The Miracle Equation, which is out this month! I am very excited to read it and due to my pre-order I have gained access to some amazing freebies! I am so excited! No doubt you will hear more about this too as the weeks go on….
I hope this list will inspire you to listen to something new that can also help inspire your day
