I can not believe we are a third of the way through the year already! It has gone so fast! I set myself a goal at the beginning of the year to make this year my most positive year yet. I wanted to move away from all the negativity that had engulfed my mind and really bring in a new mindset and perspective on life.
Are you still positive?
Yes, I am pleased to say I am! I definitely feel like I have implemented enough new techniques into my life to help keep me focused on the good that is going on rather than dwelling on the negative. I have written numerous posts on improving your mindset, and how to get more out of your days all of which I have personally implemented and really do work wonders.
I guess the biggest thing I have learnt, that all the stuff you hear over and over in productivity podcasts and blogs really is true! These simple techniques really can change your entire life and mindset! I was really surprised, and though it took me a while to fully implement all the changes I am so grateful for them!
What about your goals?
So the one big goal for me this year was to write a book. At the end of last year I developed SOLVE and I really wanted to share it with the world. I did write a brief blog post, but ultimately I wanted to turn it into a book so I could explain this process in full and how it has really helped me deal with stress in my life.
I still believe that without this method I would have fallen short of my new positive mindset! It allows me to encompass all my new practises and really helps me focus on how to handle my problems without them becoming overwhelming or stressful.
I do feel that at the moment, this project is still a work in progress and my goal for publication by the end of the year is still on target! The writing side of things I feel is likely to be the easy part… But I am not going to give up on this goal, so watch this space!
And daily life?
Daily life is definitely much busier now I am a working mum, managing a huge household and keeping this blog up to date. Having said that somehow I am managing above and beyond what I would have believed possible for myself this time last year! These small achievements have really helped boost my confidence and helped me prove to myself that anything really is possible with the right mindset.
I am not going to lie, I do continue to be a self-help book junkie, and am always looking for the next challenging read to help boost my productivity or give me a new insight on life. Right now I am reading Hal Elrod’s new book The Miracle Equation, and it really is jam packed full of helpful tips to move your goals from possible, to probable, to inevitable. I would highly recommend it!

To conclude then…
Life really couldn’t be any better! I am moving on to bigger and better things, making all my goals possible and living the best life I can live!
