3 intentions for March

I thought I would keep things simple. In my head there is so much that I want to achieve and I am finding no time to do it which just sucks.

So I thought I would keep things simple for March and try to narrow my focus.

1. Get up when my alarm goes off

I’ve become rather lazy of late and have been allowing myself to snooze, meaning I’m not getting out of bed until the kids come and wake me up. This has then led to me being annoyed with myself, but taking that out on them first thing in the morning.

So in order to change this, I aim to get up when my alarm goes off so that I actually get that time to myself that I seem to enjoy first thing in the morning.

2. Write

I have told everyone I am writing a book, though at the moment my “writing” is more of a “let’s continue to research” so as to avoid getting anything down. Or I go to write and end up writing 3-4 blog posts in an evening and still no book.

For me to truly achieve my goals and get my message out there, I need to face my fear and just write.

3. Eat healthier

Like most women I am not happy with my body. And like most women have a soft spot for chocolate…

So I have decided to begin eating better. Taking packed lunches to work and adjust my eating to match. In fact I did this very thing last weekend as we took the kids to McDonalds and I ordered a grilled chicken salad! I avoided chips and burgers and still left feeling full.
