My planning style

Being as it’s the start of a new month I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to show you how I plan my month and week across my planners! Lol!

I will start with my Happy Planner which is my personal “work” diary. I use the word “work” lightly as it is a combination of my passions as well as my jobs….

On my monthly spread I focus on my blog schedule, which I’m not going to give too much away just yet, so apologies for the blurred squares! In doing it this way I can work out where there are gaps and ensure I am giving you guys a good variety of content each month. For me, having such a simple scheduling method has helped me focus on the bigger picture.

On my weekly spreads I use the top section of each day for my 9-5 work. It tracks mileage or courses I have been on/attending. I also track expenses here if I need to.

The middle section I use for my blog at present. This will soon hopefully include my life coaching clients and anything to do with my book.

Then the bottom and side sections arez used as the diary page intended me to use it. It allows me to really bring together all aspects of the day which I like.

Onto my Erin Condren, where stickers get involved in a HUGE way! I only colour code the work diary as I don’t feel the need for it to look as pretty, whereas my personal planner I like to have look pretty for memory keeping purposes too.

My monthly spread I mainly use to track bills and then any key events coming up…. oooh look, it’s my birthday! Woop woop!

My weekly spread just contains everything and there is no structure as such as to how I lay things out. For me I want my page to look pretty and I like to think outside of the box so will often cut out an image from a square box just to make it stand out or look different.

I use a lot of icon stickers to mark events and then save filling out my to do lists as I do that every morning. The only time I may fill it in in advance is if there is a task that has to be done that day.

I would love to know how you plan? Is there anything about my style you want to know more about? Comment below 😘
